About Lilia

Lilia Reis

 

Lilia holds a degree in Psychology from RMIT University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Protection from Charles Darwin University, and a Postgraduate Qualification in Counselling from the University of Canberra. Originally from Brazil, she has called Australia home since 2002 and has worked across Queensland, Victoria, and the Northern Territory in child protection, behaviour practice, and community services.

With more than 3.5 years of management and team leadership experience, Lilia has supported both frontline practice and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams. She currently works full-time as a Behaviour Practitioner and part-time as a Counsellor, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families.

Lilia is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. She values relational therapy and believes in the power of building strong, respectful, and empowering therapeutic relationships. Her practice draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Applied Behaviour Analysis, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which she tailors to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

In her spare time, Lilia enjoys spending time with her dog, travelling, and cooking.
