About Barbara

For the past thirty years, Barbara has worked in primary education. Her interest in supporting emotional competence in children inspired her to undertake a Master’s Degree in Student Wellbeing and a Master’s Degree in Counselling.

Barbara has also completed the Trauma Informed Coaching Certificate and Facilitator Certification in the Lego Serious Play Methodology – Therapeutic Applications course. Barbara adopts a Humanistic and Child- Centered play therapy approach and values creating a warm and compassionate therapeutic space within which children are free to communicate and work through life’s challenges. Barbara can support children with communication and social development challenges, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), phobias, adjustment disorders, ADHD and depression.
